Since the beginning of my work as a Junior Manager at Robinson, a subsidiary of the world-leading tourism company TUI, I have had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in international club hospitality. In this role, I am specifically preparing for my future position as Deputy General Manager, which I will take on starting in September 2026.
During my one-year tenure as Junior Manager, I visit various Robinson Club hotels worldwide. This allows me to become familiar with the diverse and complex processes, as well as the different departments, and to develop a deep understanding of the dimensions and challenges of club hospitality. The TUI Group, as an international market leader in the travel and tourism sector, employs over 70,000 people worldwide and operates in more than 100 countries. Robinson Club GmbH, as a significant subsidiary of TUI, operates more than 25 club resorts in popular vacation destinations around the world, focusing on high service quality, diversity, and exceptional guest experiences.
Robinson is also on an expansion trajectory and will open new club resorts in exciting destinations in the coming years, including Oman, Cape Verde, Zanzibar, and China. This expansion offers exciting opportunities to further strengthen Robinson's international presence and explore new markets.
As the future Deputy General Manager, I will take responsibility for a team of 300 to 500 employees while also being responsible for the care of up to 1,000 hotel guests at the same time. This large responsibility and the associated challenges represent an exciting opportunity for me to further develop my skills in management and leadership. The valuable insights into the operations and structure of a globally operating company are crucial for me to successfully take on responsibility and management at a higher level.
