My time at Robinson, a subsidiary of the world-leading tourism company TUI, has been a hugely valuable and formative experience for me. Starting out as a Junior Manager, I had the chance to immerse myself in the world of international club hospitality and to prepare thoroughly for the role I now hold as Deputy General Manager, which I have been in since September 1, 2026.

During my year as Junior Manager, I was able to visit and work with different Robinson Club hotels around the world. This gave me a real insight into how varied and dynamic club hospitality can be. I got to know different departments, experienced a wide range of operational processes, and developed a strong understanding of the complexity, pace, and expectations that come with working in this environment. Robinson is part of the TUI Group, one of the leading companies in global travel and tourism, with more than 70,000 employees and operations in over 100 countries. With more than 25 club resorts in some of the world’s most popular holiday destinations, Robinson stands for high standards, diversity, and unforgettable guest experiences.

What made this time especially exciting was Robinson’s continued growth and international expansion. New club resorts were planned in destinations such as Oman, Cape Verde, Zanzibar, and China, opening up new opportunities and markets for the company.

All of these experiences prepared me well for my current role as Deputy General Manager, where I now take on responsibility for a team of 300 to 500 employees and for the well-being of up to 1,000 guests at the same time. It is a demanding role, but also an incredibly rewarding one, giving me the chance to keep growing every day as a leader. The insights I gained during my time as Junior Manager were essential in helping me step confidently into this position and take on greater responsibility.
